Sukma (Chhattisgarh), Mar 30 (ANI): At least 59 maoists surrendered before the police in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma. The surrendered maoists also vowed to work for the development of a better society. The Chhattisgarh government has introduced various policies to rehabilitate the Naxals, however, there seem to be end to the violence related to Naxalism in the region. Cadres belonged to extremely naxal affected interior villages of Dubbakonta, Gaganpalli, Kongdam, 600 villagers themselves came before police with these cadres to move away from Naxal ideology. On March 26, one Naxal was killed and two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured after the former triggered 11 landmine blasts in Sukma’s Kondasawali area.
