Lucknow (U.P.), June 02 (ANI): In a horrific incident, a gang-rape survivor and acid attack victim, who met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, was attacked with acid again by some goons in Uttar Pradesh’s Aliganj. The victim is in serious condition and is undergoing treatment in trauma centre. Giving details of the incident, Additional Director General (ADG), Lucknow Abhay Kumar Prasad said some unknown person threw acid on the victim in her hostel when she had come downstairs to get some water. He added that police has informed her parents about the incident and a probe has been initiated. However, U.P. CM Yogi Adityanath had earlier given a cheque of Rs. one lakh as compensation to the victim’s husband. The Dalit victim was attacked by the same group of suspects, marking the fourth such attack on her. She was first acid attacked in 2011 followed by other serious attacks again in 2011, twice in 2012 and another in 2013.
