Budgam (Jammu and Kashmir), May 23 (ANI): Indian Army Major Leetul Gogoi on Tuesday addressed a press conference in the Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district and defended his actions for using a civilian as a human shield against stone-pelters in Kashmir. In the press conference, the Major said that the civilian used as a human shield identified as Farooq Dar was used as such to prevent more casualties as he was the one who was perceived as the leader of the stone-pelters. He added the armed forces personnel involved were able to save several lives as no bullets were fired during the incident.
