Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Apr 08 (ANI): A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) patrol dog was killed and his handler got injured in a Naxal triggered IED blast in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Friday. Officials said the incident took place in the evening in the Chinnakodepal-Modakpal jungles of the district when a patrol party of the force was out for a road sanitisation and clearing task. ‘Cracker’, a Belgian Malinois breed, was hit by the splinters of the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) that was cleverly hidden beneath the road by Maoists.
