Kathua (J and K), Nov 11 (ANI): The Krishi Vigyan Kendra in association with Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) organised a one-day ‘Kisan mela’ to create mass awareness among farmers regarding latest techniques and tactics of agriculture and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. The farmers and agriculture allied department displayed various stalls of agricultural production and seeds, fertilizers and equipment in the mela. Talking about the benefits of the fair, one of the farmers said the revolution in agricultural production is possible due to various schemes and policies adopted by the state and central governments. The farmers in large number from Kathua district also displayed their produce in the mela.
