No ambulance! Family carries body of girl on stretcher

Kandhamal (Odisha), June 15 (ANI): In yet another shameful incident, the dead body of girl was carried by her father in the district’s medical stretcher to their village in Odisha’s Kandhamal. Later, the police stopped them and arranged Mahaprayana (Government Dead body carrying) vehicle and sent the body to the village. After the doctors declared the girl dead, her relatives and other concerned villagers had asked the hospital authorities to provide a hearse van to take away the body. Though they waited there for two and a half hours for the vehicle, there was no response from the hospital authorities.
