Ramnath Kovind was on Thursday elected as the 14th President of India. People were seen dancing, singing and distributing sweets to mark the day, referring the day as the proud moment for their region.71-year-old Ramnath Kovind is a farmer’s son and believes in simple lifestyle. The former Bihar Governor has served two terms as a member of the Rajya Sabha. He is a trained lawyer who has appeared at the High Court and Supreme Court.
