5-year-old raped inside school premises; accused arrested

New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): In yet another appalling incident, a five-year-old girl was allegedly raped inside the premises of Tagore Public School in Gandhi Nagar. The girl is in a critical condition and police have arrested the accused who was absconding after committing the heinous crime. Speaking to ANI, the victim’s father said his kid returned home in a critical condition and narrated the whole incident to her mother. They immediately rushed the victim to hospital and filed an FIR. He also added that school authority has not taken any actions in this regard so far. On the other hand the accused denied all allegations. The police have registered a case against under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) and are investigating the matter.
