Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 01 (ANI): Priest-turned-politician Yogi Adityanath, returned to his earlier role and was working as Gorakhnath temple’s head priest for the past five days. Since Tuesday, Yogi has been in Gorakhpur, his long-time hometown and Lok Sabha constituency and has been busy conducting special pujas during Navaratri. The CM even applied tilak on his forehead and gave prasad to hundreds of devotees present inside the temple. After the tilak utsav, Adityanath led a ‘Vijay Shobha Yatra’ on Dussehra in Gorakhpur city, following the traditions of Gorakhnath temple head priest. According to government officials, CM Yogi still managed to find time for his administrative duties and was in touch with the top officials regularly. However, the question that had been revolving around the dual roles of UP CM is whether he is a Mahant first or a CM first.
