Rampur (U.P.), Nov 21 (ANI): Amid the on-going controversy over Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Padmavati, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan said that Muslims would never object to a movie fearing it would distort their history. Giving example of Indian Cinema’s cult classic Mughal-e-Azam, Azam said the film showed Anarkali as Saleem’s beloved, when in reality there is no such thing, but no Muslim objected to it because it is just a story. Khan added that Muslims are large-hearted and they know a film can’t ruin their history.
