Tiruvallur (Tamil Nadu): In a video that has gone viral, girls are seen wiping floor of the school’s toilet with a piece of cloth in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvallur. The incident took place at RM Jain Government Girls Higher Secondary School, which has about 1,000 students studying from class 6 to 12. It has been alleged that the girls were forced by the school staffs to clean the toilets or else face consequences. The students were forced to clean the toilets since November 24. The girls finally complained about the matter to their parents and later a Collector, following which the district education secretary visited the school. Investigation is underway and the officials have promised action against the people found guilty.
