New Delhi, Dec 05 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s rallies in Gujarat’s Morbi, Dhrangadhra and Surendranagar have been cancelled due to the bad weather in the region. The first phase of Gujarat polls will take place on December 9 and cancellation of Gandhi’s rallies will likely affect the party’s election campaign in Modi government’s stronghold state. Meanwhile, Indian Meteorological Department has stated that cyclone Ockhi is moving closer to Gujarat and is most likely to hit southern Gujarat coast near Surat today.
