Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir), Dec 13 (ANI): Tourists in large numbers made a beeline to Patnitop in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur, to enjoy fresh snowfall of the season. The fresh spell not only brought cheers to tourists, but also on the faces of residents who got a respite from a six-month-long dry spell that affected horticulture and caused water levels in rivers and lakes to plummet. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that snowfall in the higher reaches of the Himalayan region will continue for the next few days. Snowfall in the Kashmir Valley has a direct impact on temperatures in New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
