Palanpur (Gujarat), Dec 18 (ANI): Congress and Aam Aadmi Party-backed Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani is leading comprehensively by 19,696 votes from Vadgam in Gujarat Assembly elections. His supporters celebrated his lead in the constituency. Jignesh expressed his gratitude by thanking the people for their support. He promised his supporters that he will now raise his voice for the discriminated section of the society in the assembly. Jignesh won the seat in the reserved constituency for scheduled caste. The Congress supported Jignesh by not fielding party’s candidate against him in Vadgam.
