Ludhiana, Jan 12 (ANI): The transgender community in Punjab held a demonstration, demanding reservation of seats in local body polls. The protests were triggered after the official notification of the municipal corporation in Ludhiana contained only men and women and there was no mention of the third gender despite the Supreme Court’s order to put in a third option in all the government forms.
