Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Jan 18 (ANI): Biju Janata Dal (BJD) workers staged a unique protest against recent fuel hike by pulling bullock carts on road of Bubaneswar on Thursday. Ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government has failed to restrict the rise of fuel prices in the country, said a BJD leader Sanjay Das Burma. BJD members demanded to exclude Diesel and Petrol from GST (Goods and Services Tax). In order to facilitate Indian consumers, the Union Government linked petrol and diesel price with international market, however, the prices of fuel products continued to surge in the market. The prices hiked about Rs 2 per liter in last 16 days.
