Mumbai (Maharashtra), Jan 31 (ANI): A Mumbai-based vada pav seller has turned into an inspiration for many, as he decided to donate his one-day earning for the welfare of soldiers. Mangesh Ahiwale donated his earnings of January 30 for the men in olive-green. Mangesh decided to show his gratitude towards the armed forces on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary. The money collected would be handed over to Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Mangesh Ahiwale sold vada pav for the day at a throwaway price of Rs. 5. Reason behind low pricing was to give everyone a chance to express their gratitude to the soldier fraternity. People thronged Ahiwale’s stall in huge numbers.
