Leh (Jammu and Kashmir), Apr 09 (ANI): District Administration is working towards improving public transport services in Leh. Deputy Commissioner of Leh, Avny Lavasa expressed delight over success and full cooperation from public as well as all stakeholders over public transport service. “We have received positive feedback till now. It was a much-needed service which we reintroduced,” she said. Lavasa also said that public transport service in itself is a progressive sign of city and it was much needed service that has been reintroduced. Prior to revival of public transport service the public totally depended on contract carriage transport van taxis plying illegally as stage carriage. With the revival of public transport the traffic congestion was reduced tremendously. General public welcomed the move of administration.
