Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 27 (ANI): Varanasi District Magistrate Yogeshwar Ram Mishra has written a letter to the Centre regarding the reduction in the water level of river Ganga. In his letter, DM Mishra has appealed to the Centre to release water from Narora barrage or Kanpur Barrage. He said, "As the summer has reached its peak, the water level of Ganga has decreased. We have appealed to the Centre to release water from Narora barrage or Kanpur Barrage. The administration has taken a strict action on this. I hope that water would be released in Ganga."
