Bengaluru (Karnataka), May 17 (ANI): A day before the official swearing in ceremony as Chief Minister of Karnataka, heavy security has been deployed outside residence of BJP’s BS Yeddyurappa. The Congress today criticized Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala for inviting Yeddyurappa to form the government in the state. They accused him of acting like a BJP puppet. The Karnataka Assembly polls which were announced on Tuesday showed the BJP winning 104 seats, while the Congress and JD(S) bagging 78 and 37 seats, respectively.Soon after, Congress announced that it would support the JD(S), taking their total seat share to 117, thus resulting in a fractured mandate.
