West Tripura, May 19 (ANI): Life in Tripura came to a halt due to incessant rains throughout the night. Many localities were submerged under knee-deep water. In a tragic incident, four people died in a landslide that occurred in West Tripura. The landslide was triggered by incessant rain. Chief Minister of Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb, announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to each victim. The victims who were trapped in a deep puddle were later identified and rushed to the hospital where they were declared dead.
