Visnagar (Gujarat), Jul 25 (ANI): Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel along with two others was on Wednesday sentenced to two years in jail and fined Rs 50,000 by a Gujarat court in a case of rioting during the 2015 Patidar protests. Soon after the verdict, the court granted conditional bail to all the three against a personal bond of Rs. 15,000. “It was an attempt to trouble us for demanding reservation,” Patidal leader Hardik Patel said after being granted bail. He added that he will start an indefinite strike from August 25. Hardik Patel and two of his aides, Lalji Patel and AK Patel, were found guilty of rioting, arson, damage to property and unlawful assembly in Gujarat during their agitation for reservation.
