Allahabad/Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Jul 28 (ANI): Devotees took holy dip in Triveni Sangam in Allahabad and Ganga River in Varanasi after lunar eclipse. July 27 turned into a day to remember, as the world witnessed the longest lunar eclipse till date. The longest lunar eclipse lasted about more than 1.5 hours, though the partial eclipse lasted for four hours. According to the Hindu tradition, no religious or auspicious practice is performed at the time of lunar eclipse.
