Ludhiana (Punjab), Aug 04 (ANI): In a shocking incident, an 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her step father in Ludhiana. The girl complained to her school principal that her step father, who adopted her a year ago sexually abused her. She also sought protection from her school. The principal said, “The girl told us that she is being sexually abused and urged to be protected. She also told us that she does not want to go back home. The girl told me that her step father adopted her a year ago. So, we all filed a complaint regarding this with the SHO. We also called District Child Protection group. We hope that the organisation deliver the child in safe hands.” Taking cognizance of the case, the police said, “We are investigating a case of the school wherein a girl who blamed her father, that we are investigating. We are taking the required action according to our investigation.”
