People from Upper caste are protesting against amendments in SC/ST act. Markets have been closed at several places. In Bihar’s Arrah district, protesters stopped a train as a sign of protest. Meanwhile, high alert has been issued in 35 districts across Madhya Pradesh in view of Bharat Bandh. 34 companies of security forces and 5000 security personnel have been deployed at various places. Section 144 has been imposed in several districts.
