Warangal (Telangana), Dec 01 (ANI): Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh while addressing a public rally in Telangana’s Warangal on November 30 said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if voted to power will continue the work for making Warangal a smart city which was stalled under the current government. Rajnath Singh said, “After our government came to power in Centre, we named Warangal in the list of smart cities. We have a resolve to make Warangal a smart city. Centre sanctioned Rs 100 Crore for setting up parks and textile industries, but only foundation stone was laid down and no further work has been progressed. If voted to power in Telangana, we will make Warangal a smart city. Moreover, we will also work to provide relief to the cotton growers of this region, which they are deprived of under the current state government,” the Home Minister added.
