New Delhi, Jan 01 (ANI): In an exclusive interview with ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed firsthand account of surgical strike. When asked whether surgical strike was used just as a deterrent or if there now a policy of hot pursuit, PM Modi said, “I don’t consider it appropriate to talk about such things in the media. Whatever strategy is to be adopted, how to do, is ongoing at appropriate levels, has been happening.” PM Modi emphasised that Pakistan will take time to behave; one war is not enough for it. “1965 ki ladai hui, vibhajan ki ladai hui. Ek ladai se Pakistan sudhar jayega, yeh soch ne mein bahut badi galti hogi.Pakistan ko sudarne mein abhi aur samay lagega,” PM Modi said. Indian Army’s Para military commandos conducted a surgical strike on terrorist launch pads across Line of Control (LoC) on September 29, 2016 and killed 38 terrorists and two rangers of Pakistan.
