New Delhi, Jan 01 (ANI): In an exclusive interview with ANI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi answered about Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) losses in the Assembly elections in five states- Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh. PM Modi said, “In Telangana and Mizoram, nobody gave BJP any chance or even thought that we would form government. In Chhattisgarh a clear mandate was given, BJP lost. But in two states there was a hung assembly. Secondly, 15 years of anti-incumbency was being fought by our people. We are discussing what was lacking”. He further added, “In Haryana we won all local polls and 90-95 per cent victory was recorded in Tripura. In Jammu and Kashmir 74 per cent polling took place and those with the BJP winning it. Winning or losing is not the only yardstick”.
