New Delhi, Jan 09 (ANI): After Lok Sabha passed a Constitution Amendment Bill to grant 10% reservation in education and government jobs to economically-weak individuals belonging to the general category, across religions on Tuesday reactions poured in from the leaders of different parties, senior Congress leader PL Punia said, “Those who weren’t getting reservation as they are neither Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe or Other Backward Class (OBC) will now be getting 10% reservation overall. Efforts should be made in the direction that they must be given their actual benefit.” Meanwhile, the Union Cabinet Minister of Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal said, “I congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi for passing such bills in last 5 years which were never done before.”
