VVS Laxman’s knock of 281 against Australia in the historic Eden Gardens in 2001 is etched in every fan’s memory. Laxman, a traditionalist is happy to see back-to-back 13 Test matches to be played in India, with the series starting between India and New Zealand from 22nd September in Kanpur. Laxman believes the upcoming battle between Virat Kohli’s boys and Kane Williamson’s lads will be highly competitive, where India will start as favourites.
