सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने हाजी अली में महिलाओं के प्रवेश को लेकर हाईकोर्ट के फैसले पर लगायी रोक

Kochi, Oct 07 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday extended the stay granted by Bombay High Court to facilitate an appeal against its decision to lift the ban on entry of women near the sanctum sanctorum of the famous Haji Ali Dargah till October 17, when it will hear the matter. Petitioner Zakia Soman said that it has restored wrong being done with women in the name of religion. She added that she is sure that the apex court will also give a fitting drubbing to the patriarchs and they will surely get justice. Soman further said that this is a great step towards justice for not only Muslim women but every Indian woman cutting across all faith backgrounds.
