Srinagar, Nov 26 (ANI): As many as 190 youth from various parts of Jammu and Kashmir were on Thursday inducted as soldiers in the Indian Army after completing one-year of training. The new recruits of Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) regiment took oath to serve the cause of the nation at the ceremony held at the Bana Singh Parade Ground at Rangreth, 9 km from Srinagar. These young soldiers said fighting militants and serving the country is the main reason for them to join the Indian Army. This comes at a time when the state has been making headlines for incidents of stone-pelting by some youth in the valley.
