Xianyang (Chinese), Feb 14 (ANI): A Chinese army veteran Wang Qi who lost touch with his family after being imprisoned in India has finally been reunited with his relatives in Chinese city Xianyang. It was a family reunion that had been delayed for more than half a century. Wang, in his late 70s, returned to his homeland he had been pining for day and night, after being held in India for 54 years. Wang’s family in China had been anxiously waiting for his arrival. Finally, on the day of Lantern Festival, a traditional holiday for family reunions, their dream came true. Wang was accompanied by his son, daughter-in-law and his granddaughter during the return trip. More than 60 of his family members and relatives in China went to the airport for the long-awaited reunion.
