New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Bollywood, once again came together to voice their support for Prakash Jha’s upcoming film ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha,’ which has been denied clearance by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), for its sexual scenes, abusive words and audio pornography. Celebrities including Alia Bhatt, filmmaker Kabir Khan and Vivek Oberoi condemn the CBFC’s decision of refusing to clear the award-winning film. Celebrities earlier like Shyam Benegal, Ashoke Pandit and actor Farhan Akhtar too joined the angry chorus in slamming the development. The Central Board of Film Certification has refused to certify the film stating that the story is "lady oriented" and "their fantasy above life". ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, which speaks about the aspirations of women, is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and produced by director Prakash Jha. The film has won several awards in the film festival circuit, among them the Spirit of Asia Prize at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
