Amritsar (Punjab), Mar 22 ANI): Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday hit out at former Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal over the ongoing row on the former’s participation in television. Lashing out at Badal, Sidhu asked if he should indulge in corruption like the former or run buses. The Constitution of India bars a member of the legislature from holding an office which would yield salaries or other benefits. Sidhu is famous for his bi-weekly appearance on TV show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’ He holds the portfolios of Local Government and Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Archives and Museums.
