Three bodies of MCD spend 16 percent of their annual budget or Rs. 1,500 Crore every year to keep capital city clean. Per capita waste generated in Delhi rises by 1.3 percent per annum. Outbreak of diseases/ailments such as Chikungunya and dengue create trouble for the administration every season.
