Meghalaya, May 06 (ANI): Known for its natural beauty, Tasek Lake in Meghalaya’s East Garo Hills was naturally formed during the massive earthquake which hit the northeast region in 1897. The lake has now turned into a popular recreational spot for visitors. Situated about 110-km from Tura in West Garo Hills, the naturally formed lake is about 1,500 meters long and about 300 meters wide.
