New Delhi/Patna, May 08 (ANI): The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday ordered trial against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Yadav in connection to his alleged involvement in the fodder scam. The apex court allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) plea challenging the Jharkhand High Court’s order of dropping charges against Lalu Yadav in 2014. In April, the Supreme Court had reserved its judgment in the mid-90s case. The RJD Chief is accused of fraudulent withdrawal of about Rs. 1,000 crores fund from the animal husbandry department, while he was in office as the Bihar chief minister between 1990 to 1997.
