4 arrested for IPL betting

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), May 16 (ANI): In yet another incident related to betting in Indian Premier League (IPL), four people were arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad by the Kotawali police on Monday. The police also recovered Rs. 1.17 lakh in cash along with several mobile phones, laptops, television set and betting receipts. After receiving inputs from the sources, the police nabbed the accused from Moradabad’s Akroor Ji Plaza. According to reports, the accused were betting for a match played between Delhi Daredevils and Bangalore Royal Challengers.
