Kalutara, Galle, Matara (Sri Lanka), May 27 (ANI): As the catastrophic landslides and floods that have plagued Sri Lanka in the last three days, the Indian Government has provided relief material to the island nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed concerned departments to provide all necessary assistance to the country in its flood relief operations. This came after Colombo had requested New Delhi to provide assistance following major flooding and landslides in various parts of the country. Meanwhile, Indian Navy’s medical and rescue teams are on work in the Sri Lankan city of Kalutara, amid major landslide and flooding in the region. At least 91 have been killed and 110 have gone missing so far.
