Bhopal, May 29 (ANI): Authorities estimate that more than a lakh fishes died in Upper Lake in Bhopal as on Monday. They said that it is continuing for the past three days. The National Environmental Envoy said that there is possibility of contamination through some kind of chemical, as there were only areas around the lake where the dead fishes found to be floating. He added that the fishermen in Bhopal found it while they were fishing in the city’s lake. Bhopal’s Mayor Alok Sharma said that currently the water from the lab is being tested to determine the kind of contamination which killed the fishes.
