ईडी ने साहिबगंज एसपी नौशाद आलम को तीसरी बार समन भेजकर पूछताछ के लिए छह दिसंबर को रांची स्थित क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय में बुलाया था, लेकिन साहिबगंज एसपी ईडी ऑफिस नहीं पहुंचे. पहले समन पर भी नौशाद आलम ईडी ऑफिस हाजिर नहीं हुए थे. हालांकि, दूसरे समन पर 28 नवंबर को उनसे पहले चरण की पूछताछ हो चुकी है, लेकिन उस दौरान उन्होंने असहयोगात्मक रवैया अपनाया था. जिसके बाद ईडी ने उन्हें तीसरी बार समन भेजा था. बता दें कि साहिबगंज एसपी पर ईडी के गवाह विजय हांसदा को भड़काने की साजिश में शामिल रहने और उनकी दिल्ली यात्रा की व्यवस्था करने का आरोप है. ईडी ने विजय हांसदा पर नजर रखने के दौरान यह पाया कि विजय हांसदा ने सीबीआई जांच के आदेश को चुनौती देने के लिए दिल्ली की यात्रा की थी और सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की थी. उनकी इस दिल्ली यात्रा के लिए साहिबगंज एसपी ने टिकटों की व्यवस्था की थी. जांच में इसकी पुष्टि होने और एक पुलिस अधिकारी से इस सिलसिले में व्हाट्सऐप पर की गयी बातचीत का ब्योरा मिलने के बाद ईडी ने साहिबगंज एसपी को पहली बार नोटिस जारी कर 22 नवंबर को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया था. हालांकि, वह वरीय अधिकारियों से दिशा निर्देश मांगने के नाम पर पूछताछ के लिए हाजिर नहीं हुए. बाद में ईडी ने उन्हें दूसरा समन भेज कर 28 नवंबर को हाजिर होने का निर्देश दिया. दूसरी बार जारी समन के आलोक में वह हाजिर हुए, लेकिन जांच में सहयोग नहीं किया.

Although, on the second summons, he was interrogated in the first phase on November 28, but during that time he had adopted a non-cooperative attitude. After which ED had summoned him for the third time. Let us tell you that Sahibganj SP is accused of being involved in a conspiracy to instigate ED witness Vijay Hansda and arranging for his travel to Delhi. While ED was keeping an eye on Vijay Hansda, it was found that Vijay Hansda had traveled to Delhi to challenge the order of CBI investigation and filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Sahibganj SP had arranged tickets for his visit to Delhi. After this was confirmed in the investigation and after getting the details of the conversation made on WhatsApp in this regard with a police officer, ED for the first time issued a notice to Sahibganj SP and called him for questioning on November 22. However, he did not appear for questioning in the name of seeking directions from senior officials. Later the ED sent him a second summons and directed him to appear on November 28. He appeared for the second time in the light of the summons issued, but did not cooperate in the investigation.
